Winifred was born in 1756 in Pittsylvania, Virginia, the daughter of Thomas Averleigh Mustain and Mary Ann or Avery Haley.
She died in 1813. The place is not known.
Her husband was James Zachariah Lewis. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. They had no known children.
