Rebecca Stookesberry was the second wife of Solomon Sharp. She had three children: Elizabeth S., George W. and Silas W.
Elizabeth and George died in infancy. She married Solomon Sharp on July 22nd, 1813 in Clinton County, Ohio. She is buried next to Solomon. Her headstone reads: "Rebecca wife of Solomon Sharp. Died Nov. 3, 1856. Aged 80 yrs, 9 ms. 18 ds." The inscription at the bottom of her headstone reads: "She has gone to a mansion of rest where the saints in glory are". This headstone was reset in concrete by the Sharp family on 09-13-1997.
