Lawrence C. STUNKARD, son of Charles STUNKARD and Mary GIBBENS STUNKARD, was born March 1, 1914 in Tulsa, Okla., and departed this life to be with his Lord on May 6, 1998 at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell, Okla., at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 5 days.

Lawrence was married to Eva TAPP on May 26, 1935 and from this union were born five children -- Beverly, Linda Sue, Randall, Larry and Noretta. The family moved from Tulsa in 1961. He was a 50 year Master Mason and a member of the Whitmire Community Church. He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife Eva; one sister, Dorothy STUNKARD; one brother, Harold STUNKARD; two children, Larry and Noretta STUNKARD; and two grandsons, Rodney FRENCH and William Allen STUNKARD.

He is survived by: two daughters, Beverly Jean and Linda Sue; one son, Randal Craig; one brother, LeeRoy; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-granchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 8, in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darrell Lacie and Bro. Audie Vaughn officiating. Interment followed at the Stilwell City Cemetery.
